Maritime Hobbies and Crafts has very generously donated eight event flags to sanction off areas for future events.

Donation Announcement #1 - HQ NPW5 Power Kite

Maritime Hobbies And Crafts were very generous in donating some kite equipment to our club.

ECKC was donated a couple of these beautiful HQ NPW5 3.1m kites. NPW stands for Nasa Power Wing. These uniquely shaped power kites can be turned from dual line to quad line with simple bridle adjustments.

Go Fly A Kite! for C.F.

Some East Coast Kite Club members were in attendance for Cystic Fibrosis Canada's Go Fly A Kite! event.

East Coast Kite Club's First Meet

We had a greet first meet this past Sunday, September 11th, at Citidel Hill. Eight fans of flying turned out with beautiful kites for some high flying fun. Thank you all who were able to attend!

Everyone mark your calendars. Go Fly A Kite! for Cystic Fibrosis Canada will be held Saturday, September 17th at Citidel Hill from 2:30pm until 4pm. The flight will be at the corner of Ahern and Rainnie Drive. Kites with the Cystic Fibrosis logo will also be available!

Meet-N-Greet

Don't forget about East Coast Kite Club's first official meet-n-greet. Come on out to Citidel Hill, Sunday, September 11th to meet some awesome ECKC'ers and have a great time flying. We'll meet at 1pm at the stairs overlooking the Metro Center.
